What Is Evernote?

Evernote is a set of software and utilities that is designed to aid in not taking and archiving of information. A “note” can be archived in many different mediums such as text, pictures, or audio. Media can also be attached to a note for safe keeping later on. Notes can be sorted into folders, then tagged, annotated, edited, given comments, searched and exported as part of a notebook feature. This makes it a great organization tool.

If you are looking for a great tutorial for Evernote, please check out the video below. This video was made by Anson Alexander a tech enthusiast who has a blog that is full of these tutorials for different technology tools which are really great if you are just starting out!

The Nerdy Teacher  – Nicholas Provenzano @thenerdyteacher(brilliant if you asked me) is using Evernote to create a virtual backpack for his students. Evernote is easily accessible through any device you may have which makes the notes and everything easy to keep together.

Digital Learning Environments – Steven Anderson – Provides many links and resources of how Evernote is integrated in the class.
